City LogoAn Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a residential living unit that is detached from a single-family dwelling that provides independent living facilities for one or more persons, which include a separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping facilities, located on the same lot as the primary single-family residence. These units are also known as Granny Flats, Mother-in-Law Apartments, carriage houses, or guest houses.

The first Public Meeting to discuss the option of adding ADU's to R-1 zoned properties will take place Thursday August 5, 2021 at 5:30 P.M. at the Rock Church in Sheridan, WY.
