The Community Development Department encompasses both the Planning Division and the Building Division as well as managing the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping and data for the City of Sheridan. The combination of these divisions allows for one-stop development and building permit processing. The Community Development Department is responsible for all zoning, subdivision, building, and permitting activity within the City. We strive to be responsive and solution oriented in our approach to guiding applications through the planning and development processes.
