Instructions for Leaf Collection
Dispose of leaves for FREE by using one of the following options:
1. Landfill Compost Yard: Take your leaves to the Landfill Compost Yard. Please use compostable brown paper bags or you will be asked to dump them prior to disposal.
2. Green Waste Drop Sites: If you are unable to take your leaves to the Landfill Compost Yard, please go to the nearest Green Waste Drop Site. Unless you are using compostable brown paper bags, we ask that you dump your leaves directly into the containers. Please do not place bags on the ground next to the bins.
3. Curbside Pick Up: If you cannot take your leaves to the Landfill Compost Yard or a Green Waste Drop Site, please place them in compostable brown paper bags and set them next to the curb (not in the alleys). To view your pick up schedule, please see the map below.
Compostable Brown Paper Leaf Bags
Compostable brown paper lawn and leaf bags are available at most of the local Hardware Stores.

- City Landfill: 83 East Ridge Road (Monday - Saturday 7:30am -5:30pm)
24/7 Drop Site Locations
- Skate Park Parking Area: Adjacent to Thorne-Rider Park off 11th Street and Dana Avenue
- 5th & Highland: 1261 Highland Avenue
- Kendrick Park: South side between Bellevue Avenue and Swan Street
- Oatts Memorial Park: On 7th Street between Sheridan Avenue and Saberton Avenue
- Brundage Lane: 165 E. Brundage Lane
