The purpose of the Household Hazardous Waste Facility is to provide a legal and responsible option of collecting and disposing of household hazardous waste and hazardous waste generated by Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQG).
All residents of Sheridan County are eligible to utilize the facility. We are currently taking appointments for Wednesdays, to schedule one, please phone (307) 674-8461 so that we may manage storage for the type and amount of household chemicals being dropped off at the facility. The facility is located at the City Landfill, 83 East Ridge Road.
The cost is free to all Sheridan County residents, but businesses are required to pay a fee (including non-profit and government businesses). Please call the facility (307) 674-8461 for more information.
