Champion Trees Located Around Sheridan

Did you know that the Sheridan area is home to some of the largest trees in Wyoming? The Wyoming Champion Trees program, administered by Wyoming State Forestry Division, is designed to identify and recognize the largest living specimen of all native and the most common introduced tree species in Wyoming. The City of Sheridan Community Forestry Program set out earlier this year to document Sheridan's Champion Trees.

Parks Division Mission Statement

To care for and enhance our parks, pathways, open space and cemetery, and improve our quality of life by providing the highest quality public service, maintenance and development.
