The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a friendly and safety-oriented individual with an excellent work ethic to fill the position of Landfill Equipment Operator. This position is responsible for performing equipment operation duties in support of landfill operations. Qualified candidates must have heavy equipment experience, good communication skills, and support teamwork. The starting wage for this position is $22.65 hourly. Part Time Dispatcher
The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a positive, team-oriented, and dedicated individual with strong accountability to fill the position of Communications Technician. This position is responsible for performing technical communications duties in support of Sheridan County law enforcement, medical, fire, and other emergency services operations. An incumbent in this position may be designated “Basic, Advanced or Professional” depending on experience, training, and special duties. The ideal candidate will look for opportunities for success, have a good support system in place, and be adaptable to changing schedules and atmosphere. This is a part time position, and the schedule will consist of 20-30 hours weekly. The starting wage for this position is $21.78 hourly. This position is responsible for operating specialized equipment in the construction, repair, and maintenance of city streets, storm sewers, and flood control structures. The ideal candidate will have a Wyoming CDL and road construction experience. The starting wage for this position is $18.59 - $22.65 hourly depending on experience.
