Utilities Administration provides executive and administrative support and services to all divisions within the Utilities Department.  Utilities Administration performs the following functions:

  • Creates annual operating budgets for Water, Sewer, and Solid Waste funds
  • Conducts statistical and financial analysis to determine the department’s financial health and position
  • Establishes policies and procedures and oversees implementation of these policies within each respective divisions within the Department
  • Assesses the need to adjust water, sewer and solid waste rates
  • Provides budgeting and managing of department funds for the development, allocation and dispersion of capital projects and ongoing operations

Utilities Administration also acts as a liaison with other City departments, as well as Federal, State and local organizations;  and, regulatory agencies on all water, sewer and solid waste issues.
