We will be hosting a TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) training class on March 12th, 2020 from 8am to 12pm. The training will be held at the Sheridan Police Department, 45 W 12th St.
TIPS is a skills based training program designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking and drunk driving. The Sheridan Police Department has multiple officers who are trained to certify servers in TIPS. Classes are free of charge and scheduled regularly.
City of Sheridan Municipal Code Chapter 4-4(e) requires alcohol server training for employees of all establishments serving alcohol.
