The Planning Division is responsible for overseeing the development process for a wide range of projects including subdivisions, rezones, and variance requests. We work closely with the Engineering Division, Building Division, and Utilities Department to ensure that each development project, no matter the size, meets adopted regulations and is poised for success.
Prior to submitting a development application, we encourage applicants to attend a Design Review Committee (DRC) meeting to help understand the development process, learn about applicable city requirements, and ask questions of staff. DRC meetings are held on Tuesday afternoons from 2-4pm in 30 minute time blocks that are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. To attend a DRC meeting, please fill out an application below and submit it to the Planning Division no later than noon on the Thursday prior to the Tuesday you wish to attend.
