LANDFILL ATTENDANT

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a detail-oriented and safety-minded individual with leadership skills to fill the position of Landfill Attendant. This position is responsible for performing customer service, administrative, and technical duties in support of landfill operations, mostly in the scale house.  The ideal candidate will have interest in or experience with customer service, computers and handling money.  The starting wage for this position is $20.96 hourly. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

The City of Sheridan is seeking a Customer Service Specialist who is friendly, flexible, and detail-oriented, with strong computer skills and a high level of professionalism. This position supports Customer Service operations through a variety of technical, clerical, and financial accounting tasks. The ideal candidate must be able to stay focused and remain accurate in a fast-paced, often noisy environment with frequent interruptions. They are comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and bring strong organizational skills, accuracy with numbers and details, and a problem-solving mindset to their work. The starting wage for this position is $23.14 hourly, with the potential for advancement. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. SANITATION & RECYCLING EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a positive and honest team player with strong customer service skills to fill the position of Sanitation & Recycling Equipment Operator. This position is responsible for performing equipment operation duties in the collection of trash and recyclables. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate a variety of large trucks and heavy equipment; and possess a Wyoming Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). The starting wage for this position is $22.02 hourly, with the potential for advancement. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. SOLID WASTE SUPERINTENDENT

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a motivated and customer-service focused individual with management and leadership skills for the position Solid Waste Superintendent to join our team. This position is responsible for the supervision and management of the Utilities Department’s Solid Waste Division consisting of Sanitation, Recycling, and Landfill operations. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, great character, and be a critical thinker. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension retirement, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and a wellness program.
