General Purpose Excise Tax (GPET) Program
Each year, the City of Sheridan accepts applications for funding through the General Purpose Excise Tax (GPET) Program. This funding supports local nonprofits and government entities working to benefit our community. Approved recipients enter into formal service agreements with the City and report on how funds are used throughout the year.

FY28 Applications will open October 1st, 2026
FY28 Applicants: All disbursements are contingent upon the approval of the FY28 Budget and upon voter approval of GPET in the November 2026 General Election.
