Quick Start Guide: Creating a Box Login and Using the Public Portal

Welcome to the City of Sheridan's online public portal! While you don't need a login to find information, an account activates more features, such as the search bar. Follow these simple steps to create a Box login:

Creating a Box Login Visit the Box Website:  Go to

Sign Up:  Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner. Choose the free account option to get started.

Enter Your Information: Fill in your name, email address, and create a password. Agree to the terms and conditions, then click "Submit."

Verify Your Email: Check your email for a verification message from Box. Click on the verification link to activate your account.

Log In: Return to and click "Log In." Enter your email and password, then click "Log In" to access your account.

Explore the Public Portal: Once logged in, you can access various documents and resources available through the portal. Use the search and navigation tools to find the information you need.

Tips and Troubleshooting

Forgot Password: If you forget your Box password, click the "Forgot Password?" link on the Box login page and follow the instructions to reset it.
